Iced maple latte for #nationalcoffeeday
Iced Maple Latte
Serves 1
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
1/4 cup water
Ice cubes
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1. Measure the coffee granules into a drinking glass. Add the water. Stir the mixture together until the coffee dissolves. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
2. Pour the milk and maple syrup into a shaker bottle. If your bottle has a wire mixing ball, add it to the shaker too (this will help make the milk frothy. If you don’t have one, add an ice cube. Put the lid on the bottle–make sure it’s tight!–and shake the bottle really hard for about 30 seconds to make the milk frothy.
3. Pour the milk into the glass with the coffee. If you’re serving more people, make more lattes just like the first one.
