Swag City!

Hello good people! It’s been a while since I filled you in on what’s happening in LCE land. We finally got the swag in house (spatula folks, you should be getting yours in the next few days! Just in time for stirring the Thanksgiving gravy!) and will be working on shipping that out to you all ASAP. I can’t tell you how much I love all the stuff! Want one of each for myself! I’m thinking Christmas presents…

Our little studio kitchen has spiffy floors and a working stovetop. I’m hitting IKEA in Minneapolis tomorrow to get a few things for the walls and countertops, and John has been working hard at getting some menus and their recipes lined up. Cinda is envisioning a “look” for the magazine that will jive with the kitchen style. And after Thanksgiving we’re going to get into the studio and start filming what will eventually become (we think) our Premier Issue of Look, Cook and Eat! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??

And we got a message from a journalist in Germany (yes, GERMANY) who is writing something about LCE in an upcoming issue of a home economics magazine. Zowie. So cool.

Looking forward to sharing some highlights of our first shoot in the new kitchen. It won’t be without blooper reels, I’m sure. But we’re jazzed! Hope you are too.
